1. Purpose

The purpose of this Security Policy is to protect the safety, privacy, property, and data of B.I.N.S. customers, employees, partners, and the communities we serve. B.I.N.S. operates in residential and commercial environments and therefore maintains strict standards for personnel conduct, operational security, data protection, and risk management. 

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All B.I.N.S. employees, contractors, and vendors

  • All residential, commercial, and community service locations

  • All customer data, operational systems, and service platforms

  • All physical assets and equipment used by B.I.N.S.

3. Personnel Security

3.1 Background Screening

All B.I.N.S. service personnel must pass:

  • Identity verification

  • Criminal background screening

  • Employment eligibility verification

Personnel failing to meet B.I.N.S. security standards are not permitted to perform services.

3.2 Training & Conduct

All team members receive training in:

  • Customer privacy

  • Property protection

  • Professional conduct

  • Incident response

Employees must:

  • Wear identifiable B.I.N.S. uniforms and credentials

  • Treat customers and property with professionalism and respect

  • Never enter unauthorized areas or access customer property without consent

4. Physical Security & Property Protection

B.I.N.S. technicians:

  • Only perform services within the authorized scope of work

  • Do not enter residences unless explicitly authorized

  • Do not handle personal property unrelated to contracted services

  • Secure gates, enclosures, and access points after service completion

Vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained under inventory control and secured when not in use.

5. Customer Data & Information Security

B.I.N.S. protects customer data through:

5.1 Data Access Controls

  • Access limited to authorized personnel only

  • Role-based access management

  • Secure authentication procedures

5.2 Data Storage & Transmission

  • Encrypted storage systems

  • Secure transmission protocols

  • Compliance with applicable state and federal data protection laws

5.3 Data Minimization

Only data necessary to perform services is collected, stored, and retained.

6. Incident Reporting & Response

Any of the following must be reported immediately:

  • Security breaches

  • Property damage

  • Personal injury

  • Unauthorized access

  • Data compromise

B.I.N.S. maintains an internal incident response procedure to:

  • Secure the environment

  • Document the event

  • Notify affected parties where required

  • Implement corrective measures

7. Surveillance & Monitoring (If Applicable)

In communities or service locations where cameras or monitoring systems are used:

  • Systems comply with local and state laws

  • Signage is posted where required

  • Footage is accessed only by authorized personnel

  • Data retention is limited to operational necessity

8. Third-Party Vendors & Partners

All vendors and subcontractors must:

  • Meet B.I.N.S. security standards

  • Sign confidentiality agreements where applicable

  • Follow all operational and privacy requirements

Failure to comply may result in termination of vendor relationships.

9. Compliance & Legal Obligations

B.I.N.S. complies with:

  • Federal, state, and local safety regulations

  • Data protection and privacy laws

  • Industry best practices for service operations

This policy is reviewed periodically and updated as business operations evolve.

10. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Disciplinary action

  • Termination of employment or contract
